ELDORADO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS CREATE TOBACC-NO CAMPAIGN
Beta members at Eldorado High School worked with the Egyptian Health Department to create an anti-tobacco message as part of the “Kick Butts Day.” Students created a message in the Middle School chain link fence that read “TOBACC-NO!” to help spread awareness of the harmful effects of tobacco use.

HISTORY
The very first Illinois state convention took place in Carbondale on March 24, 1961. Illinois Beta has produced several state and national officers such as 2009-2010 National Senior President Akeem Muhammad of East St. Louis High School. Illinois Beta shows that leadership is essential to youth development. Affectionately known as the “Land of Lincoln”, what more can you expect from a state that hails as the home of our beloved 16th President?
