"I believe having a Beta Club improves the academic environment of a school; but the most important reason to have a Beta Club is that it fosters the development of character in students as they learn to see the bigger world around them, and strive to make a positive difference in the lives of others."

HISTORY

Shhh! Can you keep a secret? History has it that National Beta's birthplace was actually Louisville, KY before officially establishing in South Carolina in 1934! Perhaps that can be found in the 1st place Scrapbook won by Barren County at the 3rd National Convention. Although the headquarters relocated, we all know Beta's heart lies in the Bluegrass State! After the first state convention in Lexington in 1939, Kentucky Beta has grown tremendously and stands as one of the strongest states in attendance of all state and national conventions. Join us and let Beta show you “My Old Kentucky Home!”
