"There was a time where I was depressed and had ZERO motivation. Beta and my sponsors pushed me and inspired me to strive for what I want. It helped me gain mental strength and motivation."

BRUCETON CENTRAL BETAS RAISE MONEY, TEACHERS KISS PIGS

The Senior Beta Club at Bruceton Central hosted a quarter drive to raise money to attend National Convention in Orlando. Each quarter was essentially a “vote” for which teacher you wanted to see kiss a pig. With the pig kissing combined with a chili supper held before the game, the students were able to raise more than a $1,000 toward their goal.

HISTORY

Tennessee Betas are true artists at heart. Darlene Hall, from Wartburg Central High School in Harriman, TN designed the 50th Anniversary logo used by the organization for 1983-84 academic year. Artistic talent has been showcased in Tennessee Beta since the first club was chartered at Jefferson County High School in Dandridge, TN in 1936 and the state’s first convention in April 1938 in Knoxville, TN. The Volunteer State is known for its artistic style with country flair. Join Tennessee Beta and showcase your talent!
