Loganville High School Beta Club presented the "Mr. LHS" competition
Tuesday, March 4th, in the LHS Auditorium as a fundraising effort to
benefit Camp Sunshine Programs for Children with Cancer.
Contestants were judged in the categories of Casual Wear, Formal Wear,
and Talent, and several prizes were awarded, including People's Choice
(based on audience votes and donations), Mr. Money (awarded to the
contestant who raised the most money prior to event), Mr. Funny (for the
most amusing contestant), and the overall title of Mr. LHS. A $500
scholarship was awarded the participating senior who gave the best
answer to randomly selected questions according to the judges. Mr. LHS
was also decided by judges based on scores recorded on a rubric with
several categories.
It was a truly fun experience for all who came and LHS Beta Club raised
nearly $2000.00 for children with cancer!!
