March 3: Read Across America. Betas Read Dr.Seuss books and escorted The Cat in the Hat to 6th grade classrooms to promote reading awareness and say Happy Birthday to Dr. Seuss who has influenced all.

March 5: Kicking Off Women's History Month by Reading books to 6th grade students about women who have shaped our society. Cookies were placed in the teacher workroom along with a thank for the wonderful job all the teachers have done for all students but especially for Betas.
March 6 and March : Along with Vine's Principal's Roundtable, Betas began collecting money for Pennies for Patients. Pennies for Patients benefits The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The fundraiser run through March 28.
