The National Beta Club Scholarship Program offers scholarships to outstanding Beta Club members in their senior year. Two hundred ten (210) scholarships are awarded each year. They range in value from $1,000 to $15,000.

Applications and other materials are mailed to the Beta Club sponsor (faculty advisor) each September (in the fall mailing box). Students interested in applying should contact their Beta Club sponsor. The deadline for applying is December 10.

Eligibility Requirements
Senior high school students who are active National Beta Club members and are registered with the national headquarters as of June 3, may be nominated by their Beta Club chapters to participate. Each chapter may nominate two senior members who exemplify the club's goals of academic excellence, leadership and school/community service.

Test Information
Applicants must submit test scores from the SAT or ACT. Students taking the SAT can release their scores by indicating code 9867 on the "Reports to Colleges and Scholarship Programs" section on the SAT Registration Form. Those students who take the American College Test (ACT) can release their test scores by indicating code 9867 on the Registration Folder. Alternatively, students may report their test scores by both filling them in on the application and by submitting an official school transcript that includes the scores.

Selection Criteria
Selection of National Beta Club Scholars is based on a number of factors with special emphasis placed upon academic excellence, demonstrated leadership, character and school/community service.
