Start Application Process

1. Have you already started a new club application?

   Yes You will enter the email address and the password that you created to access your previously saved application.
   No I am ready to begin the application process.

Each step must be checked off as completed in order to access the online or printable application.

Please read this first and then check to acknowledge that you have read it. Please read this first to review virtual school requirements for a new charter.

Upon official approval, enter code provided and select the checkbox.
2. A Beta Club Sponsors has been selected.   Yes  No
   

   An administrator, counselor, teacher or librarian, etc. must be appointed as club sponsor (advisor) and approved by the school administration.

3. Read the National Beta Club requirements (opens in new window)

   Determine your school's specific criteria - GPA, commendable character and attitude, etc.

4. Identify prospective members who meet your membership requirements.

   There is a minimum of five (5) students to charter a new club but there is no maximum number.

5. Optional - Request complimentary invitational materials (for the prospective members that have been identified) from The National Beta Club office (1-800-845-8281) or by .

   Included are congratulatory notes for the parents, an invitation to the student to join the club, and a brochure containing facts about The National Beta Club. A sample parent letter is also available via e-mail.

   Send the invitations home with the students along with a deadline for submitting membership fees.

6. Collect membership fees ($15 per new member)    

   Click here for instructions on transfer members - DO NOT list them on the application.

7. You are now ready to prepare your new club application!

   Important Considerations:

   • Complete all requested information, submit and print application. You must print the application upon completion; application will not be accessible after it has been submitted. Obtain sponsor and administrator signatures on last page of application.
   • Mail the application, along with one school check ($15 per member) to this address:

   • Please allow four weeks for the processing of the new club application and membership fees.
   • Wait until you receive the shipment of credentials before planning an induction ceremony. Included with your new club materials will be a username and password to access the sponsors' only section of our website where you will find sample induction ceremony formats along with other information for running you new club.
   • Please allow time for your administrator and sponsor to sign the membership certificates after they are received.

**To remain an active chartered club, new members should be inducted and their membership fees sent in to the national headquarters yearly.
