John W. Harris Leadership Award

Each year the National Beta Club recognizes deserving students in Junior and Senior Beta Clubs throughout the country with the John W. Harris Leadership Award. The successes of these Beta members are an inspiration to all and serve as a motivation to improve the school and community.

Click on the link to find a nomination form and criteria for the judging of the John W. Harris Leadership Award entries. The central theme for this year will once again be "Leadership Through Service Builds Character." As a result, the criteria focuses on proven leadership skills, service to school and community, and character traits in the Beta Club creed. As you choose an individual whom you believe would deserve this award, remember that it may not be an individual who has reaped all of the honors, held every class office, or is the most popular. Your nominee must be a current member, in good standing, of your Beta Club.

Best wishes for a great school year. We look forward to hearing from you by the December 10, 2005 deadline.
