STATE OFFICERS'
ORIENTATION
The State Officers' Orientation
is an annual program for Junior and Senior State Officers. The student leader
activities include emulating a meeting for a convention, conducting an installation
ceremony of new officers and learning the duties of an officer. There are
fifty-four senior officers and sixty five junior officers eligible to attend
each year. These officers are elected at their respective state conventions.
The 2005-2006 Senior State Officers' Orientation was held
July 21-23, 2005 prior to the Beta Broyhill Leadership Conference. The
Junior State Officers' Orientation was held July 27-29
2005 immediately following the Beta Broyhill Leadership Conference. Both orientations
were held at Belmont Abbey College located near Charlotte, North Carolina.
During the conference, the student officers were transported to Spartanburg,
South Carolina to visit the National Beta Club Headquarters.
