National Beta emphasizes achievement, character, service and leadership by providing opportunities and experiences to impact our members, their schools, and communities across the world.

We help schools develop a positive culture that supports well-rounded, service-oriented student leaders. We’ve remained true to our mission since 1934 and proudly encourage over 485,000 4th-12th grade students each year to Lead by Serving Others.

Eligibility

National Beta is available for all school types (public, private, charter, homeschool, and virtual) as long as they meet the eligibility requirements. We give schools the flexibility to run your club in a way that best fits your school and students.

We have worked to make sure the process of starting a club is simple and attainable. Individuals who are selected to run your club, (we call them sponsors) will work alongside the National Office throughout the entire process of chartering a club.

Clubs Receive:

  • Simple and easy to follow induction ceremony resources
  • Free, age-specific meeting activities designed to enhance student growth
  • Database of resources for running a club
  • Access to Sponsor Discussion Board to collaborate with other sponsors
  • Year-round support from a National Office staff member dedicated to helping new sponsors
  • Free downloadable materials and official charter
