National Beta is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students. National Beta has served the education field for over 90 years with more than 500,000 active members. There are more than 9,000 clubs making National Beta the nation’s largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization. National Beta is headquartered in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Scholarship Application and Selection Process
National Beta Scholarship Recipients are well-rounded students who, while excelling academically, also are wholeheartedly engaged in active club participation. They are committed to school and community service and are continuously improving upon our four pillars by demonstrating leadership within their club. The application process consists of two phases designed to select the most deserving National Beta members.
