Parent & Guardian Communication Policy
Our Commitment
At National Beta, we’re proud to partner with schools and educators to help students grow as leaders, learners, and citizens. We value parents and guardians as key supporters in this journey and are committed to open, respectful communication that protects every student’s privacy.
How We Communicate
Because National Beta operates through schools and club sponsors, most communication happens directly with the educators associated with each club (sponsors and administrators) rather than individual parents or guardians. This approach ensures that all information shared is accurate, consistent, and aligned with school policies.
What We Can Share
We’re happy to provide parents and guardians with:
- General information about National Beta’s mission, history, and purpose
- Details about events, conventions, and scholarship opportunities
- Public resources explaining how schools can start or maintain a Beta Club
What We Cannot Share
To protect student privacy, National Beta cannot release:
- Details about individual students (including membership identification numbers, status, participation, or awards)
- Student lists or school-specific rosters
- Any information considered part of a student’s educational record
Our Focus on Privacy
National Beta does not maintain access to school records or legal guardianship documentation. For this reason, all student-specific information must be shared through the student’s school or club sponsor.
