Since 1934, National Beta has upheld a rich tradition of honoring millions of students in grades 4-12 for their achievements.  Throughout this history, our organization has remained faithful to the mission statement set forth by our founder, Dr. John W. Harris, to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, leadership and service among elementary and secondary school students.

As we approach our 90th anniversary, we’re excited to introduce our newly redesigned website. This comprehensive makeover offers a bright, modern look, and a user-friendly interface that promises a more engaging and informative experience for all visitors. Here are some of the exciting features and enhancements:

  • Streamlined Navigation: Our website now boasts intuitive navigation, making it easier for visitors to find the information they need quickly and efficiently.
  • Responsive Design: Now fully responsive, our website ensures seamless accessibility from desktops, tablets, and mobile devices, allowing users to connect with Beta anytime, anywhere.
  • Club Opportunities: Explore our dedicated section highlighting all of the opportunities available to clubs and members, from Sponsor Appreciation Week and Founder’s Day to Beta Around the World and our newest service activity, the J.W. Challenge.
  • News Section: Stay informed about the latest news, events, and success stories within the Beta community through the revamped news section which will replace The Shield.
  • Award & Recognition: Easily find an archive of winners for a wide range of National Beta awards including School of Merit, School of Distinction, Service Awards and more!
  • Who We Are: Our new directory helps visitors easily access and filter between groups to find the individuals who are directly impacting their state.

National Beta CEO, Bobby Hart, expressed excitement about the website redesign, stating, “Our website is a vital hub for our club sponsors, members, and supporters. This redesign aims to make it easier for students, educators, and parents to access the valuable resources and opportunities Beta offers.”

We encourage everyone, from current members to prospective ones, to explore the new website and discover the enhanced features and resources it has to offer.
