We’re thrilled to announce that the National Beta Scholarship Program application for the 2023-2024 school year is now open! This scholarship opportunity is available to eligible Beta members who excel academically and embody the values of leadership, character, and service.
Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible to apply for the National Beta Scholarship Program, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be an active 12th grade member of National Beta
- Must have taken the ACT or SAT
Application Deadline: The application period for the 2023-2024 National Beta Scholarship Program starts November 1, 2023 and will close on January 18, 2024. All application materials must be submitted by 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on the closing date.
Awards Offered: National Beta is proud to offer a range of scholarships to deserving students as part of the National Beta Scholarship Program. Scholarships are awarded based on the applicant’s achievements, contributions, and commitment to the ideals of National Beta. The scholarship awards include:
- John W. Harris Scholarship – $20,000
- Board Emeritus Scholarship – $15,000
- National Sponsors Scholarship – $10,000
- State Sponsors Scholarship – $8,000
- National Officers Scholarship – $6,000
- Five – $2,500 awards
- 247 – $1,000 awards
Application Process: Interested students can apply for the National Beta Scholarship Program by visiting the official scholarship application portal at scholarship.betaclub.org. Phase 1 of application requires submission of academic transcripts, details regarding the applicant’s Beta activity, and the applicant’s leadership, character, and service experiences.
