NC State Convention Update: Virtual Convention

GoldShield

We are excited to share important information for your upcoming NC Beta Virtual State Convention. Below you’ll find an overview of how the virtual convention works, what to expect as you prepare, and key dates for Senior, Junior, and Elementary Beta divisions. Please review all sections carefully.

How the Virtual State Convention Works

The Virtual State Convention allows students to fully participate online while showcasing their talents and achievements.

Clubs will submit their competition entries (such as photos, videos, and/or written descriptions) through an online submission form called Jotform by a designated deadline. After the submission window closes, entries will be scored and reviewed during a judging period. Winners will be announced during a virtual General Session.

Campaigns and elections will also take place virtually. Candidates’ speeches, campaign skits and question and answer segments will be uploaded during the submission window. Voting will occur during a scheduled voting window following the Campaign Rally.

With the submission window opening soon,we want to ensure you have everything you need for a smooth and successful experience.
