National Beta Club Celebrates National Sponsor Appreciation Week

Spartanburg, SC — The National Beta Club proudly celebrated National Sponsor Appreciation Week from February 2–6, 2026, honoring the dedicated Sponsors whose leadership, service, and commitment continuously ensure local clubs thrive nationwide. The annual celebration provided students, administrators, parents, and community members the opportunity to recognize the time and energy Sponsors devote to supporting Beta Club members across the country.

Beta Sponsors play a pivotal role in guiding members to embody the National Beta Vision: To Develop a Community of Leaders Who Positively Impact the World. Through service projects, leadership initiatives, and academic enrichment, Sponsors help shape the future of Beta students and strengthen school communities.

During Sponsor Appreciation Week, clubs were encouraged to show their gratitude in meaningful ways. Suggested activities included organizing surprise breakfasts, creating tribute videos or photo albums, writing personalized letters or cards, decorating Sponsors’ classrooms, and featuring Sponsors in school announcements and social media posts.

The National Beta Club also recognized the winners from Sponsor Appreciation Week 2026, who received special recognition following a social media nomination campaign:

  • 1st Place: Mrs. Scott, Independence High School, MS
  • 2nd Place: Mr. Trejo, Immokalee Community Academy, FL
  • 3rd Place: Mrs. Powell, Telfair County High School, GA

National Beta’s CEO, Bobby Hart, said, “National Sponsor Appreciation Week gives us a dedicated moment to recognize the people whose unwavering support makes Beta experiences possible. Sponsors invest their time and passion to guide students and in turn, build stronger schools and communities. Celebrating them is a reminder that leadership isn’t just taught- it’s modeled everyday by Beta Sponsors across the country”.

National Sponsor Appreciation Week once again served as a meaningful reminder of the essential role sponsors play in developing student leaders and sustaining impactful Beta programs nationwide.
