Conference attendees can take advantage of the complimentary ground shuttle service, which loops between all convention hotels and the Savannah Convention Center, as well as the complimentary water ferry service that runs between the Savannah Convention Center, City Hall, and Waving Girl ferry docks. All students 17 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult to ride the ferry.

Your State Officers have been working hard on this year’s State Service Project with the focus being the Humane Society of Greater Savannah! They are asking clubs to bring items that help care for the animals – more details coming soon from your State Officers.

Pop Tabs for Change: Georgia Beta Club Statewide Service Project
Project Overview
The “Pop Tabs for Change” project aims to collect aluminum pop can tabs throughout Georgia to support charitable organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House Charities, which recycle tabs to fund programs for families with seriously ill children. Beta clubs across the state are invited to participate by collecting pop tabs and dropping them off at designated collection centers.
Participants will receive a receipt upon drop-off, acknowledging their contribution and will bring the receipts to the Georgia State Beta Convention.
How It Works
Collect: Gather pop tabs from aluminum cans at home, school, or community events.
Drop-Off: Bring the collected tabs to any of the designated collection centers listed below.
Receive Receipt: Show your donation; receive a receipt acknowledging your contribution. Bring receipt to the Georgia State Beta Convention.
Support: Collected tabs are recycled; proceeds fund charitable programs benefiting children and families.
