Ferry Service

Please be aware of a transportation update: one of the Chatham Area Transit (CAT) ferries is currently out of service due to mechanical issues, and repairs have been delayed until after the holiday. This means only one ferry will operate during the convention, running the full triangle route with extended hours. Boat captains will reduce break times at each stop and continue service as efficiently as possible.

However, to minimize wait times, we recommend utilizing the available ground transportation options:

  • Three motor coaches will run each route.
  • Additional transportation will be available on River Street.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as Visit Savannah works to ensure smooth travel for all attendees. If you have any questions or need assistance, please let us know.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you in Savannah!

Pop Tabs for Change: Georgia Beta Club Statewide Service Project

Project Overview

The “Pop Tabs for Change” project aims to collect aluminum pop can tabs throughout Georgia to support charitable organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House Charities, which recycle tabs to fund programs for families with seriously ill children. Beta clubs across the state are invited to participate by collecting pop tabs and dropping them off at designated collection centers.

Participants will receive a receipt upon drop-off, acknowledging their contribution and will bring the receipts to the Georgia State Beta Convention.

How It Works

Collect: Gather pop tabs from aluminum cans at home, school, or community events.

Drop-Off: Bring the collected tabs to any of the designated collection centers listed below.

Receive Receipt: Show your donation; receive a receipt acknowledging your contribution. Bring receipt to the Georgia State Beta Convention.

Support: Collected tabs are recycled; proceeds fund charitable programs benefiting children and families.
